DIKIRI AND TRIKIRI (Gr. "set of two and three candles") is a set of set of two candleholders, one double-branched candlestick and another triple-branched, both used by the bishop in blessing at the liturgy. The Dikirotrikera, as well as the altar fans, are also kept in the sanctuary.
Description: This is a brand new gold-plated Dikirotrikera (set of dikiri and trikiri). The DIKERON or DIKIRI (approx. dimensions: 11" in height; diameter at the base is 4 1/3"; diameter of candles is 7/8") is the candlestick that holds two candles (double candleholder). The two candles remind us of the two natures of Christ, the divine and the human. The TRIKERON or TRIKIRI (approx. dimensions: 11" in height; diameter at the base is 4 1/3"; diameter of candles is 7/8") is the candlestick that holds three candles (triple candleholder). It signifies and remind us of our faith in the Holy Trinity.
This set is religious artifacts used during various church ceremonies and is made following the long-established canons of the Christian church. It is an indelible addition to any religious collection and would also make for a wonderful church donation or gift.
