Tiara of Benedict XVI
In yesterday's Papal Audience, a small contingent of traditionally- minded Catholics and Orthodox presented our Holy Father with a gift of a new Papal Tiara especially created for him. The main contribution came from Dieter Philippi of the Philippi Collection, noted for his work on Ecclesiastical Headgear. Hopefully Benedict will actually use it, and not set it aside like the Tiara gifted to Pope John Paul II.
